Death by Funting
Funt is the noise made during some combustion. The second Prince has declared this the third spoke on the wheel of death.
The prisoner is placed in a booth, much like a phone booth, with very strong glass walls. A red light signals the gas injection. The prisoner has the opportunity to hold his breath and close his eyes. When the gas mixture reaches the proper ratio, a spark touches off the gas, Funt is the noise the burning gas makes through the escape hole on top. The prisoner will not be killed at once, so this can be repeated over and over. I imagine that big ships have large capacity injectors that can cut the cycle down to a few seconds.
This is as close to dying in an internal combustion engine as possible. This is a very colorful death and will be very popular at night and on the Fourth of July.
Perhaps the booth should be twenty feet tall so that if the prisoner is propelled up in the air he will be inside for the next explosion. (we can only hope)
